Problems connecting to an event

I am still having trouble connecting to a web conference

How do I access a web conference event?

Every web conferencing event has a unique web address associated with it. You can see the web address associated with an event by logging in to your account or if you are already logged in go to my account.

Click on or copy and paste the web address into your web browser.

Once on the log in page, enter your name in the area that says ”enter as a guest” and then connect into the web conference.

I am having trouble connecting to a teleconference event.

Every teleconference event has a unique telephone number and conference id associated with it. You can see the telephone number and conference id associated with an event by logging into your account or if you are already logged in go to my account.

To access a teleconference, simply dial the toll free teleconference number. Once prompted, enter the conference id (6 digit number) and then press the # key on your telephone key pad.

Problems during an event

There is no sound during a web conference event.

Verify to make sure your computer speakers are turned on and the volume is turned up. You can verify the volume level on the speakers as well as on your computers volume settings.

In some instances, the host of the event may be experiencing a technical issue that is causing the sound issue. They will advise you of any technical problems during the event.

I got bumped out of a web conference event.

Try reconnecting with the same web address. If the problem persists, try connecting to the web conference using a different web browser.

I tried connecting to a web conference or teleconference event and there is no one there.

Verify you have the right date and time.

If you are early, try reconnecting closer to the actual time of the event.

Registering for an event

How do I register for an event?

You need to sign up and subscribe to The Caregiver Network to register for an event. You can subscribe for free.

I’m not sure if I am registered for an event?

After registering for an event, you should receive an email confirmation. If you did not receive a confirmation, check your spam or junk folders. Then add us to your safe senders list.

You can also log in to your account or if you are already logged in go to my account and verify in your dashboard if you are registered for an event. If the event is not listed in your dashboard, then you are not registered for the event and you should try again to register.

What’s the difference between a web conference and teleconference event?

Web conferences are viewed online through a web browser, mobile device or tablet. Teleconferences are audio only sessions accessed through the telephone.

The event I am registered for provides both a web conference address and teleconference access information? Do I connect to one or both?

When an event provides a web conference address and teleconference access information it means that the event is being broadcast on the Internet and through the telephone simultaneously. You should connect to both in order to see and hear the event.

Are your events free?

The vast majority of our events are free. On the event’s listing page, we indicate whether an event is free or if there is a fee for registration. When you dial into a teleconference, the call is toll free and you will not incur any long distance charges.

I missed an event. What can I do?

Most of our events are recorded and then made available on our website. You can do a general search for an event using the search function at the top of our website.

Problems accessing my account

I forgot my password

Click on “Login or Signup” at the top of the page and then enter the email associated with your account under “forgot your password”. You will receive an email with instructions.
